Croy Engineering located in Huntsville, Alabama is looking to hire a crew chief for our rapidly growing surveying department.
Looking for a highly motivated individual that can be a part of our fast growing surveying department.
Qualified crew chief with at least 5 years of experience.
This position will be based out of our Huntsville, Alabama office.
Preferred to have surveying experience including GPS surveying, experience using robotics total stations and some computer skills.
Must be a minimum of 21 years old.
Have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must have the ability to occasionally travel overnight.

Two - Survey Crew Chiefs
This position will be based out of our Birmingham, Alabama office. Candidate will be required to demonstrate strong surveying fundamentals, management, organizational, and communication skills while running a field crew for various types of surveying assignments. The work is primarily in the Birmingham area, but may include state-wide and some out of state travel. Five + years of experience in land surveying preferred. Position requires knowledge of surveying techniques including: GPS surveying including static, fast static, RTK, and VRS; utilization of robotic total stations; utilization of other conventional surveying equipment; and moderate computer skills. Experience with Trimble GPS receivers, robotic total stations, and data collection a plus. Candidate must be able to exercise good field judgment and be a reliable, dependable, and responsible team member that will work closely with management and other team members.

This position will be based out of our Birmingham, Alabama office. Candidate will be required to assist the field crew leader and work with other team members in accomplishing project goals for various types of surveying assignments. The work is primarily in the Birmingham area, but may include state-wide and some out of state travel. One or more years of experience in land surveying preferred. The Kentucky Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors has an immediate fill position for a full-time investigator. This is an unclassified (non-merit) position within Kentucky State Government and has a designated work station of 160 Democrat Drive, Frankfort, KY.
The likely candidate will either be licensed in Kentucky as a Professional Land Surveyor or Professional Engineer, or be a dual licensee. The position requires frequent travel across the Commonwealth and requires frequent contact with licensees, their employers, and the general public.
